Origin & Region: Colombia, Huila/Cauca

This Colombia Excelso offering comes from the renowned coffee-growing regions of Huila and Cauca—two of the most celebrated areas for specialty coffee in Colombia. These mountainous regions feature ideal microclimates, volcanic soils, and a strong tradition of smallholder farming focused on traceability and quality-driven practices.

A blend of traditional and modern Colombian varietals that showcase the diversity of the country's coffee genetics. Caturra and Typica provide bright acidity and fruit-forward characteristics, while the Colombia and Castillo varietals offer disease resistance and balanced sweetness. Bourbon adds depth and chocolate notes, creating the classic Colombian profile of vibrant fruit, chocolate richness, and cane sugar sweetness.

Washed processing method enhances the clean, bright flavors characteristic of high-altitude Colombian coffees. The beans are carefully fermented and washed to remove the mucilage completely, resulting in the clean, crisp cup profile with vibrant fruit notes and balanced sweetness that defines premium Colombian coffee.
